Why are my cPanel/FTP details needed? : Migrate Guru

The Migrate Guru plugin copies data over FTP or cPanel (since FTP details can be retrieved from your cPanel details).

Entering your cPanel details also allows us to identify the directory path where you’ve installed WordPress on the destination.

If you enter your FTP details however, you’ll have to give us the directory path.
