- Install and activate the Migrate Guru plugin on your source (original) site.
- Make sure you have a domain to migrate your site to on Bluehost, and that you have WordPress installed on this domain.
- On your source site, navigate to the Migrate Guru plugin and select 'GoDaddy' from the list of hosts.
- Once you select GoDaddy, you should see the following form:
- In this form, enter the URL of your destination site–– This is the URL to which Migrate Guru will move your site.
To fill up the rest of the form, you will need your FTP Host/ Server Address, FTP username, and FTP password.
To find these details, please follow the steps below:- Login to your GoDaddy Dashboard
- As soon as you log in, choose 'Hosting' in the drop-down menu next to the GoDaddy logo.
Next to your account click manage (skip this step if you only have a single site).
Once you’re redirected to the Hosting page (which looks like this)
Click on ‘view’ next to SFTP user, under ‘Settings’ section.

This should take you here:
- Once you have the domain's FTP details, fill them up in the Migrate Guru form.
- If your site is HTTP Authenticated, click on 'Advanced Options'.
- Once you've completed filling up the form, click on 'Migrate'.
- You'll then be sent email notifications about the progress of migrations. You will also be taken to a screen that portrays the real-time progress of your migration.
- You will also be notified once your migration is complete.
- Login to your GoDaddy Dashboard
